Does anyone recommend a fax software since it is not included in the Vista Home Premium? I've read a bit about Snappysoftware.com but would prefer opinions and suggestions from folks on FR. Thank you!!
Also, last night I called the 800 number and lo and behold, the customer service guy couldn’t even be understood. He had no idea when I kept saying, “Fax.” I got so pissed and told him I’d find help elsewhere. I’d love to know what country I called.
I hate to recommend that you buy something that should have come with your pc, and for sure, your modem. But...
I used to use bvrp fax software back in the days of using my pc’s modem for faxing. BVRP is now Avanquest. They have an inexpensive version that’s certified for Vista. It’s $29.90 plus they are offering a 25% discount for entering aqexplore in the discount code box. It’s also available for trial.
Their website is:http://www.avanquest.com/USA/work/communication-tools/fax-telephony-sms/Classic_PhoneTools_9.html
Good luck.
I’ll definitely look at it. Thank you. I’m at snappysoftware.com reading up on the products - I keep seeing the name recommended all over the internet. Thank you again.
Avanquest looks awesome!
Sorry, I had to hit the hay. :) I did want to find out how it worked out for you.
In looking around I found a lot of others have the same issue and are really po’d over it. Let know if it works well, so I can help out some of the others, too.
Thanks
