There is an ancient 78 record I wish I could get a copy of, or at least could locate the words. The song was “The Morning After the Night Before” (...gee, whiz, but don’t your head feel sore. Your shoes are on the hatrack and your clothes are on the floor, Oo oh the morning after the night before.)
One verse went something like, “The women too will be just as bad when they get women’s rights. They’ll all go out with the girls about six out of seven nights. ‘Let’s drink’ they’ll say, in a reckless way, as each one pours her own she’ll say ...” My memory fails here...
This incident reminds me of that song. I sure wish I could find it again...
