note: the actual crater, unfortunately, is buried ~1,000 feet beneath the mountain -the impact occurred around 380 million yrs ago and has long since been buried by sediments that washed off a long ago eroded away alpine-like mountain range which once stood where the Taconic Parkway is today-etl

(it's the circular feature to the upper left of the two small bodies of water (one is the Asokan Reservoir) To further help identify it on the Google map, it has a little white 'route-28' sign along its northern 'rim'(the actual rim is buried ~1,000 ft below).
