Thanks for this article. It brings back memories to me of the early 1960’s when, on my days off, I would help a lady who was doing salvage archeology for the Univ. of AZ along the route of a natural gas pipeline in this general area. The fascinating artifacts we uncovered convinced me that these were not primitive people. Beautiful painted pots, bone hair decorations, stone and pottery statues, etc.
