My Nephew-in-law is in his 3 tour in Iraq. He leads a squad of 22 soldiers who are not near any military base. Our family sends out monthly care packages to him and his men. Last week they lost 3 who were temporarily attached to them for a special mission. With all the bad press out there I would like to send in my next care package "words of praise and encouragement" for these guys. Can you take a minute and write a note to them. I will print out each note separately (that is appropriate) and include it in my care package this month.
Do you know how I can copy this picture in each stage of the picture. This will just be a printed sheet and it is so cute.
Tomorrow is our great nation's Independence Day. Once again our citizens can exercise their freedom and liberty in celebrating this wonderful occasion as a result of two immutable factors:
1) The grace and mercy of our Creator and Almighty GOD as shown through His only begotten son and our Savior, Jesus Christ.
2) The bravery, dedication, and committment of our beloved soldiers who place themselves in harm's way to protect our nation so that we do not have to live in fear.
Nothing we can say can ever adequately express our gratitude to each of you for your service. Never doubt our love and appreciation of you. Never doubt that we pray earnestly, daily for your safety. Always remember that when you return home from your mission, family and friends will be waiting for you with open arms to thank you for your sacrifice. May GOD ALMIGHTY protect you from harm, comfort you in times of trouble, and return you home safely. - OB1
Gentlemen:
You are foremost in our thoughts at home on Independence Day. We are grateful to have you laying your lives on the line to protect something unspeakably precious. Those who take it for granted will only know how precious if they lose it. The people around you will only know how precious if, God willing, they obtain it with your help. The rest of us who do know offer you our heart-felt thanks and our prayers for your safe return. May God bless and keep each and every one of you.
Our sincere gratitude and our undying devotion to you all. For without you we would not be free.
Please know that you are all in our prayers and we await your safe return.
mrs and family
Thank you so much for your service to our country. There are still more of us here who appreciate what you are doing and applaud you for it. May God be with you and all those who serve and bring them safely home to their loved ones, and to a country that greatly needs their leadership skills.
I had a typo in my earlier post and also posted to wrong FReeper. Here’s the corrected version:
Thank you so much for your service to our country. There are still many more of us here who appreciate what you are doing and applaud you for it than those who don’t. May God be with you and all those who serve and bring them safely home to their loved ones, and to a country that greatly needs their leadership skills.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you who serve, every day.
As I write this on July 3rd, I will celebrate tomorrow - INDEPENDENCE DAY - and remember WHY we are STILL independent. It is because of all of you who are there every day and night while we live our lives in safety and freedom. My family sends thanks, love and appreciation for all that you have sacrificed for us. May God bless all of you and protect you, and may he guide those who have given their all to a well-deserved reward in heaven. They have not died in vain. What you have done, and continue to do, is good and honorable. Thank you!

Dear Heroes,
(Yeah I know - you say you’re not, but I say you are!!)
Thank you so much for everything you are doing for us over there. Thank you for taking the fight to the enemy over there so that my children are safe and free over here. You are NOT forgotten - we pray for your safety and success of your mission everyday! God bless you!

Oh, Grandma, there are not enough good words to express the gratitude I have for these guys. They cannot properly be thanked enough. We love all of them. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Thanks for the ping, Star!
I pray each night for the safety and sanity of our troops and support personnel all over the world. I also pray for their safety, their courage and their bravery in the face of formidable foes, and ask Him not to let our men and women be discouraged by what the MSM says.
God KNOWS! God CARES! He is ever mindful of those who serve Him in any manner, to keep this country free.
For all military and civilian personnel, no matter where you serve, THANK YOU!

Grandma C needs FReepmail (thank you’s and support) to send to her nephew who is doing dangerous missions in Iraq.
Your ping list up to this? It looks like an opportunity for people who may not know what to do for troops - something to do for the troops!
Hey Troop!
This old Marine wishes you well, and health, and good hunting!
GET SOME!
My wife, our two daughters, and myself would like to take the opportunity to say “Thank you and God Bless” for all that you are doing for us.

For some of us here in the US, every day is Independence Day.
We cherish our freedoms and thank those who ensure them, and keep us
free.
You are in our thoughts and prayers daily.
Words are not enough, but here they are: Thank you, God bless you,
we are all proud of you, and come home safely.

I am so happy to get the opportunity to say thanks to some fine young men.
Gentlemen:
You have no idea how many of us keep you in our thoughts and prayers. You are prayed for in my weekly mass by our parish priest, and by all of the congregation.
I think of you as defenders of my grandchildren. Because of you, my grandson will be able to grow up free and have heroes to emulate. Because of you my granddaughters will never wear burkhas.
You are warriors who defend the freedom our forefathers struggled for, and who bring it to those who have for so long suffered under oppression. You are truly the best of our nation.
Ignore the media. They are firmly in the camp of the wimps and anti-Americans. The American people love you and support you.
God bless you all.
