The recipe I use for Chipped Beef on Toast is actually a Navy recipe, that I modified for my own use (although I did a little “modifying” of it when I was cooking in the Navy!...LOL!)

It WAS you who marinated the beef first in single malt wasn’t it!!! You were my unit’s hero, we scarfed down the stuff with gusto!

What was your modification? Give kudos to my Mother-(Japanese) who mastered this recipe under the tutor of my late Father-(Irish descent), Ex-Army - He taught her the recipe, even though she found it really strange-(she is coming from a diet of fish, rice and vegetables)./Just Asking - seoul62......
