I am so glad I posted something that you could recognise from your travels OESY. I toured Switzerland some years ago before I had a digital camera so any photos I took will be in old fashioned albums.
On our tour of Europe ten of us rented a chalet in the mountains for five days and used that as our base for touring the countryside. We stayed very near Guyeré where they make the cheese.

Father-in-law Day, Eh?
Guess I can expect some company bearing gifts?!?
I’ve been told by three guys I’m their favorite father-in-law. How cool is that? :)
To: Diver Dave
Let those sons-in-laws know that today is also cheesecake day.
Gifts and cheesecake are in order for today.

Back again.
Sorry for such a short note this morning.
Marissa’s lessons were for only three days. Today she told everyone that she would be back next year.
On Monday, she was uncomfortable. She had never been on a golf course while some of the other students could have played 18 holes.
Since most of the kids had clubs, we went to Target and bought her a junior Wilson set. It included 5 clubs, a bag and two head covers. I think that made her feel more like she fit in.
She did much better yesterday and today. I think GrampaJust is planning to take her out to a driving range once a month or so. At least she will get to practice a little.
I’m happy that Booboo is having a good time. Having fun and enjoying yourself is what it is all about. Were her lessons for the entire week? I wish Marissa was going again tomorrow since she made friends with some of the kids.
Hope you and Booboo are enjoying your summer.

LOL
Reminds me of directions that my friend and I received in Boston several years ago.
We picked up our rental car about 10:00 pm and asked directions to our hotel. Well we got lost, my friend told me to pull over and she would ask the security guard.
His directions, “After you pass the old chocolate factory, go 1 mile and turn left; can’t miss it.”
Right ...... we didn’t know the old chocolate factory from the new chocolate factory (or even if there was a new chocolate factory).
We’ve laughed about that several times since.

I relate all too well to your experience. In Lucerne, we must have driven on almost every (one-way) street of the inner city for an hour trying to find our hotel, which I had been told was nearby. Finally, I gave up and decided to park and walk to find it--asking for directions as I closed in on my target. I walked 50 feet, and there it was--hidden by a corner. Where was my GPS when I needed it? And, no chocolate.

Thanks for the cute car, Yorkie.
Happy Birthday, Henry Ford. Look what he started; wonder what he would say about our $4.30/gal gas.

Hi Amy & All, We seemed to have completed our running for today. I think I may have overdone the walking tour. Poor JK and MB look exhausted. Lori promised to go to Bible Study with me this evening, but she chickened out and begged to be excused because she was so tired. So, I left her to baby-sit Emma and wash the dinner dishes instead. Hahahahaha. I'll let you guys hear about the day from her when she recovers, which may not be for two weeks after she gets back home. The poor guys are going to have to take a vacation when they get home.
I think they are about ready to crash for tonight. We are planning breakfast at Bob Evans in the morning before they take off for Columbus and the airport.
