Good afternoon/evening, All

I've been back for awhile .... just took me awhile to get here.

After lunch, I had a little bookkeeping to take care of, then my bod demanded a nap.

Marissa was much more comfortable this morning.
So she did much better. She still fools around a lot.
At one time I saw her twirling her club like a baton. LOL
This may be a waste of time but I do want her to try it.

I will answer as many pings as I can before I have to leave again.
I'm really not ignoring you ... just not enought hours.

Well, I loved this and the Quacker Questions, plus all the “ducky” comments. I wanted to join in but I had to be at the Courthouse by 8:00 am. as I got a ticket about three weeks ago. I let my tag sticker expire and could kick myself. All these many years, I’ve never been pulled over by those flashing lights and I’ve never had a ticket. I took care of the sticker the very next morning, after the ticket, but still had to go to traffic court. Scared the living daylights out of me. I worked at that Courthouse for 12 years in the past!

The parking lot is on one side of a creek and there is a little walkway with a cute curved bridge you walk over to the Courthouse. Well, there were about 15 ducks swimming and quacking their heads off, as if to cheer me up and I thought about the ‘cute ducky things on the thread’ They were darling so I stopped on the little bridge and watched them having fun.

The judge dismissed the ticket as the original hadn’t been turned in by the policeman. Wonder why he didn’t turn it in? He sure was happy to write it that evening! He didn’t look like he was dry behind the ears yet~~LOL~~

My mouth could have gotten me in trouble...when the policeman was walking away I said, “Well, maybe you can go and catch some ‘real criminals’ now? My sons said “Mom, you didn’t.” I said “Yes I did..I couldn’t help myself.” LOL~~
