Life Expectancy Pushes Past 78 Years; Death Rate Falls for 11 of 15 Top Causes of Death

June 11, 2008 — U.S. life expectancy has hit a new record: 78.1 years for babies born in 2006, says the CDC.
What’s more, the death rate for 11 of the top 15 causes of death — including heart disease, cancer, and stroke — slowed in 2006.
That’s what the CDC’s preliminary data show, based on some 2.4 million deaths in 2006. Here are the highlights from the CDC’s report.
Life Expectancy
Life expectancy in 2006 is about four months longer than it was in 2005, according to the CDC.
Sometimes I am beginning to wonder.
You really have to wonder why these people are hell bent on destroying our country? What's even more remarkable is that they are suppose to be the ones representing our country, and defending it from all enemies foreign and domestic.
The tide is going to have to change for our country to preserve itself. Wasn't it Benjamin Franklin who feared the enemy within?
And just what, exactly, is their solution to this “problem?” If one has no suggestions then they should keep d@%m mouth shut!
Reid better tell this to the state of Nevada since most of their electricity comes from COAL!!!!
Nevada gets 23% of their electricity from Coal.
They get 66% of their electricity from Natural Gas.

I suggest you preemptively abort America. It will solve all of
your problems. Besides, Americans don’t deserve oil or any other
energy source because - in just breathing - we are destroying the
precious and delicate earth you worship.
Since Americans don’t deserve to live, why bother with funding
for health care, school lunch programs, cancer research, Social
Security, drug research and other life saving programs? Why worry
About HIV, hungry children and entitlements if it will only serve
as a form of induced life support?
Let’s use “Terry Schiavo” as a model. She deserved to die and so do
we. Pull the plug and DO NOT RESUSCITATE! Then I suggest
you preemptively abort the rest of us who are not yet in a coma,
because eventually we’ll be on life support too.
