I’ve been saying this for a while...
They’re going to get serious buyer’s remorse when they get letters from their employers telling them they HAVE to get married or lose their partner benefits.
Everything I have read tells me that for all the hoopla, only a handful of gays have taken advantage of opportunities (Vermont, Canada) to tie the knot. Gay relationships are too unstable and they don’t want to be on the hook for alimony, etc.
Be careful what you wish for.
