The short answer: no.
could a couple weeks ago, the trick was not getting caught.
I would-
And I hope MANY DO~!!!
AND THEN.... WATCH THE CRIME RATE FALL~!!
(I am betting that will tick off the media- crime falling will tick off the media... how warped are liberals..?)
that depends on whether you want to be a test case...
it still may be legal to own a handgun, but I don’t know if it gives you the right to carry one....nor not to be arrested or shot on suspicion of something having to do with a handgun on your person.
Good news. We’ll need our guns for the coming Civil War. Hussein Obama and his leftist friends will declare war on individual freedom when he gets elected. Get ready.
What I want to know is can we legally organize a million armed men march on Congress?
Its a shame decision was only 5-4. I was hoping at least one of those lunatic whackos would join the right side and give the decision more credence.
I carry in NYC, LA, Chi, and any other place that I travel, local laws that usurp my constitutional rights do not apply to me.
Today's opinion changes nothing in that regard. It has long been legal to drive THROUGH the District of Columbia with a handgun in your car, as long as:
1. You're on an interstate journey.
2. The gun is secured in your trunk and in a locked container.
3. You don't take the gun out while in DC.
4. You don't stay in DC longer than 24 hours.
5. You're legally entitled to possess the gun both at the point of origin for your trip and at your destination.
(The same rules apply everywhere in the USA, any local gun restrictions to the contrary not withstanding.)
