This ad was Laugh In funny. Unfortunately, this is not 1968 but 2008, and everybody is hyper about gays. There wasn’t anything “gay” about this ad. By using their product, an otherwise-female mom is turned into a genuine deli cook as one would find in New York. I saw it for what it was and thought it genuinely funny.

O.K. we see it from different angles...but I really don't want to see men kissing. If they do so in TV programs or films I can choose not to watch them but when it is ‘in your face’ (as it were) unannounced at advert time....well where's this gonna go in the interest of fun?

Liberals always push the boundaries - oft times beginning with stuff that they can say “hey, wottcha got your knickers in a twist about, it's only fun!”

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who got that ad -- and the humor.
