I’ve known Simon and Provenance for years (was wearing one of their hats over the weekend).

They do a beautiful job with the warbirds and every single one of them is a piece of art.

Glacier Girl visited the “Salute to Veterans” Memorial Day show in
Columbia, MO.
My brother said the thing looked like it just rolled off the assembly line.

Myself, I’d never would have had the courage to go down tht icy
mine shaft to help with the recovery...just too claustrophobic
and scary for me!

As for rebuild/re-creation of WWII-era planes...the ME-262s now flying
are something else.
(Although I do have sentimental misgivings about it being one of
“the bad guys” products).

One P-38 found under 500 feet of ice and snow after fifty years and another one turns up on the beach exposed by the rising sea levels caused by global warming, I guess.
