After hearing Hussein obama's latest speech on energy, I would like to point a few deficiencies. Number one, it cost a great deal of money (and time) to drill for oil. Apparently, this ignoramus thinks that there is some giant spigot that you can turn off and on oil production. It takes a minumum of 6 months to drill a well, and maybe 5 years to develop a field. Now, this idiot says we shouldn't pursue drilling because it takes too long. I finally realized, he is into instant gratification. He is rich, so I guess he can afford it. But the truth is that developing oil production is a long a costly venture. Going with the BHO model, we would still be riding bicycles..what a royal A$$.
All the Democrats in Congress (joined by several Republicans) are opposed to drilling offshore and in the ANWR. They prefer that the US remain dependent on foreign oil. They prefer that we pay higher and higher prices for gas, diesel, and other fuels. They prefer a socialist, UN “solution” that will fit the pagan religious hoax called “global warming”. They prefer that our economy be crippled by unnecessary environmental constraints.
