Jamie Lynn Spears and her fiancé Casey Aldridge welcomed a baby girl Thursday morning, People reports.
The baby was named Maddie Briann, according to the magazine.
"Just the family was there," a source told People about the birth around 9:30 a.m. at a hospital in Mississippi, near her Kentwood, La. "Everyone is healthy and happy."
Jamie Lynn's sister Britney, father Jamie and brother Bryan flew in Wednesday to be with her for the birth; her mother Lynne had been with her helping her get ready for the baby.

Where is Janet Reno when you really do need to rescue a kid?
Where is Child Protective Services? I feel sorry for the child.
Hey, I just clicked to see the cool trailer park photo!
This is nuts! I read this and I also read that Jamie Lynn Spears gave birth today. I saw a commercial for this show called the Baby Borrowers that teaches teens about how hard it is to raise babies as a teen. I think they give the kids a baby to raise or something. I’ll be watching and I hope this will take away some of the desire for all these crazy teens to get knocked up.
Why has she not married the baby daddy? It’s not like this snuck up on them.
Why do people do that? If you’re gonna get married anyway, at least do it during the nine months, so you don’t have to worry about stuck-up moralists like me stigmatizing you for spawning illegitimate children.
I feel for Maddie Briann because her mother doesn’t have the sense to know that a) Brian is a boy’s name and b) it only has one N.
“Shouldnt this be in Breaking News!”
More like Water Breaking News.
Sorry.
I actually think that is kinda cool. Good use of space.
Would change the color of the very top one and that ugly orange one.
Ten to one that Briann is pronounced like Bree Ann or Bree Ahn. I have a great niece named Brianna, pronounced Bree Ahn na.
