Here's a probable lie; before the surge Obama said none of the military experts he had spoken to would say “in private” that the surge would work at all. Of course the left-stream media didn't follow up with the logical questions, “How many military experts have you spoken to in private about the surge?” “If they don't want to be named, at least what were their ranks?” “Now much time had they spent on the ground in Iraq?” What was the general time period you spoke with them about the surge?”
Bottom line, I doubt the Obamessiah ever spoke to any actual military experts about the surge in private.
