Great idea if you ask me!

Neat.
Now during sudden rainstorms we can yell to our friends - “Hey, you left your car door down!”

I should say... I have no financial or any other connection with these people. In fact, just for the record, I have no connection with anybody who is selling anything.

The only problem I see is that if you had a child in the back seat that could get out of the seat belt, it could potentially be a hazard if the child didn't wait for the parent before exiting the vehicle. That is why I have childproof locks on my back doors, so my grand-critters don't get out until I am right there to assist them.
Speaking of critters, animals would be a problem too if you didn't want them to exit the vehicle. My dogs love to go on runs to the corner store in the truck, but we have to be careful that they don't jump out of the cab when we get out.

It looks very practical, and an interesting idea. and for those reasons alone it wont be on American cars anytime soon. My best guess is never to see it on any produtcion cars in America unless the pricetag is above 80 thousand.

It’s a terrible idea. Picture how often automatic windows fail. Now multiply that by ten. Now picture being trapped in your car whenever that happens.

And it will only cost 3000 to 4000 to fix when broke. No thanks.

I think it’s a horrible idea. Side impacts all of a sudden get much more dangerous and possibly fatal.

Another perfectly good solution to a problem that didn’t exist.

They couldn’t find a replacement door in the junkyard for that old Mark VIII after it was wrecked.

Hey Ford, to improve Mercury - try selling cars with those doors. Remember the TURNPIKE CRUISER, you could make an updated TURNPIKE CRUISER with those doors.
