I’ve seen a couple of episodes of the show, just to see why it’s so popular. What a waste of time. You couldn’t pay me enough to see the movie.

I don’t do Limbo, but this was good, very good. But there is more. Perhaps in some ways this boob tube show and the blockbuster movie point to the current battles between American women, swimming in the accumulated liquid manure of feminism and men. In this war, American men are losing.

Second, the movie sucks, but in real life, if you are lucky enough to know women like these, you will have something to do.

I must agree. Kim Cattrall is still hotter than hell, and was the only reason I was ever able to suffer through an episode of that show. He’s right about SJP and the giraffe-neck chick, though.

I don’t do Limbo... Rush is OK. As OK as anyone on the air. I used to be a big fan, and I remain appreciative for what he's done for radio. He blazed the trail that the others followed.
I happen to catch this at lunch. I got a kick out of it.
It's Rush at his best.

There’s a reason why they’re called “chick flicks” and that’s because they appeal to chicks. Nothing wrong with it. Shoot em ups often don’t appeal to women, and that’s okay too.
I never watched the series but we’re having a girls night out this weekend, we’re going to a theater that serves food and cocktails and we’re watching SATC simply because it will be an entertaining evening out for the chicks!
And as far as the “solitary hero” theory—ever heard of Lord of the Rings, Mr. Moore?

I always said there are only two ways to get a man (voluntarily) to watch a chick flick:
1. if it has clever humor or side story, such as My Big Fat Greek Wedding, or
2. if it's told from the man's point of view (a rare thing indeed), such as Somewhere in Time.
