Jeff Peckman is a 54-year-old who lives with his parents, promotes technology that supposedly creates harmony by manipulating electromagnetic fields and is behind an initiative to form a commission on extraterrestrials in Denver.
"He's less ahead of his time if you put him in Boulder," ... "He's more ahead of his time in downtown Denver."
Peckman is derided, dismissed and deemed a doofus ...
His projects - everything from technology called brain fingerprinting to an Oregon ballot initiative to label genetically engineered food ...
In 2003, Peckman championed Initiative 101, which would have required the city to promote peacefulness. The campaign cost $2,000, and the initiative lost - with a respectable 32 percent of the vote.
Peckman first popped into the public eye in 1998, when his name was put on the ballot as the U.S. Senate candidate for the Natural Law Party, a now-defunct group based on the Maharishi's teachings.
His Initiative 101 was dubbed "Safety through Peace."
Depite being ridiculed and misunderstood, the initiative got more than 28,000 votes.
Peckman wrote Measure 27, a 2002 Oregon initiative that would have required the labeling of genetically engineered food. Although it lost, it was endorsed by Paul McCartney, Consumers Union and others.
Peckman is confident that his latest initiative not only will get on the ballot but will pass...

Let me see if I can find the notes on the forensics presenteation. It was a great presentation but I don’t think I took a lot of notes during it—it was so much old hat but presented in a new way that debunkers would have likely found impossible to counter. But I didn’t need convinced to I think I gave it less interest than I might should have in terms of writing verbatim notes.

Seems to have been a falling off of the classic UFO shape of 20-30’ diameter craft [in terms of raw numbers]
Landing sites result in various effects.
64 yar old farmer walking toward barn . . gray green color—looked like a giant mushroom—cows looking at it. Sun’s up. Sees several green figures moving very rapidly under the craft. He picks up 2 big rocks. After he crawls over the 1st gate. His thought is to try and disable it & keep it on the ground. in 1967
About 15 feet from the edge, he encountered a physical pressure wall that he couldn’t penetrate. He tossed a rock against it and the rock bounced back. He tossed a rock on top of the craft & it skipped as though on water.
Shortly, the figures return into the craft by the central column/support. The central column retracts into the craft and the craft departs.
The soil is TOTALLY dehydrated.

Johnson family of North central Kansas. Young boy & dog snowball arrived home late & went out to feed his prize sheep. He heard a sound like an out of balance old washing machine.
30-40 feet from him, a 10 foot diameter craft was hovering 5 feet off the ground. A luminous auquious something was coming out fo the center toward the ground but stopping 1 foot from the ground—NOT TOUCHING THE GROUND.
He wanted to run but couldn’t move & dog couldn’t move. All 100% silent . . . as it passed over hog shed, he went totally blind. Sound indicated it was receding into distance & his vision ?slowly? returns.
There was an 8foot diameter ring on the ground surface that was GLOWING BRIGHTLY. [photos taken in the dark with only the light of the ring are plenty bright.]
The soil in the ring was actually cool but with small craters. They noticed that after they touched the ring, their fingers became numb. Nurse wife couldn’t take pulses for 2 weeks.
Could ave read a newspaper from the luminous ring of soil 10 minutes after the craft left.
16 hours later, the sheriff took photo. Ring totally dehydrated down to 14 inches into the soil.
Water would bead up on it. Nov 1972
Dr _________ went out in August following year. His fingers became numb when he touched the ring that many months later. The ring surface was higher than the adjacent ground. [the ring being higher was mentioned in part because a debunker claimed the farmer had had a ring feeder and that the cows had gotten so excited eating that they’d stamped their feet up and down compacting the ring and also that they’d peed plenty etc. all resulting in the ring. A note regarding my notes: I tend to take rather accurate notes. I paraphrase a fair amount for brevity but often have many, if not most key phrases, verbatim. However, I donÂ’t distinguish with punctuation which phrases are verbatim and which are paraphrased. That would entail more bother than I care to engage in at such conferences.

Turns out, it’s in the galactic neighborhood.

There were 1,100 engineers & scientists involved
6 ft diameter reactor in one case. 3 foot diameter reactor in another case-–1,100 megawatts producing 1/2 the power of Grand Coolee Dam.
By 1938, we’d figured out that the sun was a fusion reactor. By 1952 we’d put the knowledge to use. 10 million times the energy per particle compared to chemical.
We [not sure who the we is besides US scientists-–may have included Stanton] built an electromagnetic submarine.

Cites German vs British scientists in WWII. German scientists concluded that the towers were for radar. Sent a Zeplin up and down the coast to get the frequencies. Listened, came back-–zero info. Turns out they were off on their tuning by 10 points on frequency. [Stanton is saying that SETI could be off by any number of point in any number of respects because we are ignorant of what an advanced civilization well beyond us might communicate via]

Philip Klaus [famous debunker] insisted the documents weren’t real over the pica vs elite type issue. He said he’d pay me $100 for every authentic document I could find with [whichever-–pica or elite that Klaus said was not used back then-–Klaus had never physically been to the archives] I found 14 such documents and sent him copies. He sent me a check for $1,000 but never noted publically that he’d had to pay up. To bad he set a limit, I’d have been rich!

During some other speakers’ presentations, I sat near Stanton on occasion. I’d sometimes give him questions in writing. Several questions having to do with ET/UFO future scenarios and probabilities, he would reply with “I don’t know.” Even when I tried to get him to wildly speculate and guess–same answer.
I did the same sitting near Timothy Good. I got the same answer.
It also sounded to me this time more than before, that Stanton is decidedly on the side of the perspective that global government is good and that the arrival of ET’s publically will cause mankind to give up Nationalistic frictions and wars and accept a global government. . . . that the ET’s are likely here to get us to do that in order to allow us to ‘join the galactic Federation.’
It was sad to me to see that he seems to be clearly leaning in that direction.
IÂ’m not so clear that Timothy Good is . . . but it would be congruent with his presentation of himself and the info. He didn’t say anything I heard contrary to that. However, Timothy Good does speak of ET’s causing dastardly negative feelings in humans and doing dastardly deeds with humans.

Trucker witnessed several fighter jets chasing UFO.
1 UFO was over the base & 1 UFO was out toward Wickenburg.
2 fighters with afterburners from behind viewer toward UFO.
Very large craft over their house—was like wavy light over hot pavement looking up into the center of the craft.

Knee never showed scars of such surgery. He was whisked away to bunker because we went to DEFCON3 due to the flyovers.
Craft was UNDER 3,000 feet.

The craft was so big and so low, we could not see the edges of it.
At another point in time when I could see the edges, I held my hands out one on opposite edges and my hands were 30 inches apart.
Pilot viewing the craft’s lights as it flew overhead thought that the lights resembled “can” lights—with orangish, amber light.
Another craft seen . . . a large orb—appeared as if it was crafted out of light—perfectly round.
When large triangle craft was directly overhead—dead-center of the lights—there was no filament in the light—it was like swimming light—balls of light—gaseous globes.
Large craft blocked out the stars.
Looking up at underside of craft—like looking through water—wavy image—no buzz; no hum; no sound at all. Effortlessly glided over . . . 5-9 lights on at any given time.
Witness Kitei: I think they went out of their way to let us know that they’re here. Objects were clearly intending to be seen.
PhD Schwartz: There were over 10,000 witnesses—a complete cross-section of the population.
Air-traffic controllers saw the craft directly but not on radar.
Richard Powell PhD—the craft profoundly affected witnesses.
Joan Mortensen RN sp? Not frightened but curious.
This was a planned “elegant” production.
Officials later claimed 911 only got a few calls. When actually—as 911 workers later testified—there were thousands of calls jamming the lines.

Francis Barwood Council woman of Phoenix: Mayor’s office said “We don’t have UFO’s over Phoenix.”
Francis Barwood asked in council meeting what was going on etc. “Everyone looked at me.” Another council member made a joke. An assistant manager came up to me and said I shouldn’t have asked the question. I thought it was a public safety issue. I couldn’t understand that negative reaction. I received thousands of calls to my office alone. I PERSONALLY TALKED TO 700 people . . . including active military . . . only one person in all that 700 said it was an airplane and that one person was a kid.
She wrote SENATOR MCCAIN [MCCHURIAN] He wrote the National Archives a letter that was sarcastic. I learned that the National Archives doesn’t answer—they file it.
Francis Barwood got a lot of [outraged] calls after the Governor’s press conference joke. She suggested: DON’T WASTE TIME WITH THE GOVERNOR—LISTEN TO THE WITNESSES.
Verele Nannen sp? FLARES DON’T BEHAVE THE WAY THE CRAFT AND CRAFT LIGHTS DID.
Aircraft dropping flares couldn’t achieve [anything close] to an exact triangle—MUCH LESS MAINTAIN IT. Flares leave a trail of smoke. Flares move at different speeds. The light intensity graph of flares is uneven, [with very irregular hills and valleys]. The light intensity graph of the craft’s lights taken from 35mm FILM is absolutely flat.
We did motion studies of different witness models such that no matter how we moved it, it would be accurate to the witnesses.

Fred Reed was called to clean up the crash site. Commanding Officer later told him it was a UFO site.

This is the crash my close relative rode horses out with his friends to see within 10 days or so of the crash. It was all cleaned up with massive truck tracks all over the place. One of the friends had a farm within 3 miles of the crash.
The researchers have tracked down an amazing amount of info on that crash.
A note regarding my notes: I tend to take rather accurate notes. I paraphrase a fair amount for brevity but often have many, if not most key phrases, verbatim.
However, I don’t distinguish with punctuation which phrases are verbatim and which are paraphrased. That would entail more bother than I care to engage in at such conferences.

I’ve weathered more long dark nights of the soul and fiery furnaces than most people have even read about—and come out better mentally, emotionally, psycho-dynamically and spiritually than ever before, each time.
I suspect I could handle constructively, resilintly, overcomingly a bigger series of super devastations than a dozen average folks could put together.
I know what my profs, supervisors, clients, students, colleagues have all said about my mental status routinely and in comparison to others. Such comments on their parts have long been very touching and affirmingly enriching to me. You could stand on the street corner 24/7 accusing me of being an insane idiot and it would not begin to touch the depth, breadth and positiveness of their affirmations.
Aside from all that, My Lord is my Boss. And His approval is quite sufficient for me to weather everyone else’s disconfirmation should it ever come to that.
