Jemian my back is so sore today. Was yours? And did you have bloating? Goodness, I hope this goes away. Other than that, I feel great.

kassie, I’ve not had the procedure, but it’s possible that your back may be sore from being positioned on the operating table....

Also some bloating occurs from things being manipulated during the procedure and also possibly the anesthesia itself. If you get really distended or uncomfortable of course you should call your doctor right away.

Yes, to both questions.

The bloating definitely. I found out later that they pump your innards full of gas, air or something in order to give them more room to work and see what is going on. Then, you simply outgas it in the week or so after the op.

This could be causing your backache as well.
