I have a couple of questions for y’all:

What are plate chargers? I saw some at Hobby Lobby yesterday and they looked like large plates to me. What is makes it a “charger”?

Also, I am looking for relatively cheap but elegant picnic plates and flatware. Any ideas? I thought I’d look at Chinenetts web page, but apparently I don’t spell the name correctly. Help!

Go find one of those Paper Supply places in a strip mall. They geneally have quite a variety of things. Surely you’ll find something satifactory.

Jem, chargers are an underplate often a different color or material that makes the dinner plate stand out.

I've seen picnic ware in Costco or Sam's that looked like fine china with matching silverware that is reall plastic. My sil used it for Easter dinner when we had 30 people there.
