Why would Apple market a computer “designed exclusively for new developers”? I don’t get it. As Ballmer said, "Developers! Developers! Developers!" If this is cheap enough it might get more non-Apple developers in on the game since they can't run OS X on their current hardware.

Why would Apple market a computer “designed exclusively for new developers”? I don’t get it. It's a low-priced box designed so developers can play around with porting to their apps to OS/X without spending a fortune.
