Officials at the Isle of Palms ordered everyone out of the water because of a dangerous animal.
But it wasn't a shark this time.
Instead, wildlife officials ended up trapping a two-metre-long American crocodile in the surf ...
the crocodile likely escaped or was released by someone who illegally brought it from its normal habitat in southern Florida.
But Bennett says it is possible the crocodile could have swum up the coast.

Well, it’s beyond ‘punny’ but I’d call that one something that rhymes with “got-mail”??!
But I’ll be nice.

And after that - no more ‘inside voices’, lol!
They’re annoying anyway, snicker.

There is a crocodile that is indigenous to The USA that lives in the southern part of the Florida keys. They don't get as big as African or Australian crocs. Google it.

I lived on the IOP for years and one of the old guys that was a constant creek shrimper swore there was Croc’s back there in the Marsh. We all use to laugh at him.

Meh... they eat about the same. Cornmeal, salt and pepper.
You should see what cooks sell as red-fish.

want to know who, why and how someone decided to eat crocs..Perhaps it was for all of the good white meat in their fat tails? And perhaps, because we could.
Some cooks stand out there, looking at stuff like Tripe, and Gator meat, thinking... if only I can come up with a recipe...
And then we actually cook it and eat it.
Yeah, it's sick. But it IS a career.

Nothing like being the top of the food chain on a planet that contains gators, sharks, wolves, pumas, skunks, democrats, and giant catfish.
It's good to have recipes.
