Since Obama likes to say that McCain would be a President George Bush 3rd term, then I would think that Obama would be a Jimmy Carter 2nd term.
Remember, without a Carter there can be no Reagan.
1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.
2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.
3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.
4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.
Freepers, you ain't seen nothing yet (just substitute Islam for Russia....) There are 45 rules and America has become a victim of 95% of them if not more. Read and weep. Then send the whole thing to you congress critters and your senators and your childrens teachers, your pastors, preachers, ministers, anyone you can think of just send it on....PLEASE.
I think Obama would be worse. Carter was just an addled bumbler. Obama is a dedicated socialist.
That is true..
Worse - at least Carter kept some semblance of a military. Obama wants to eliminate it, disarm America.
"But you cannot lose a nuclear war for three years and then come back. You cannot even sustain the will to resist for three years when you are first broken down morally by threats and then devastated by nuclear bombs.
Our one window of opportunity to prevent this will occur within the term of whoever becomes president of the United States next January.
At a time like this, we do not have the luxury of waiting for our ideal candidate or of indulging our emotions by voting for some third party candidate to show our displeasure at the cost of putting someone in the White House who is not up to the job.
Senator John McCain has been criticized in this column many times. But, when all is said and done, Senator McCain has not spent decades aiding and abetting people who hate America.
On the contrary, he has paid a huge price for resisting our enemies, even when they held him prisoner and tortured him. The choice between him and Barack Obama should be a no-brainer."

Anyone wanting 4 or more years of Hussein ObamaMessiaHamas as Potus to punish the republicans has a real problem mentally and ego wise or they want the destruction of America as we know it. That same bs got us 8 years of the Clintoons, the first bombing of the WTC, 9/11 and the current rat controlled congress. Anyone who thinks losing is winning is mentally ill.
It would be worse. Unless Congress grows a set, which is unlikely. Together they could do irreparable damage in four years.
Who would have ever thought that the best America had to offer both come from a Senate with a 13% aapproval rating! Neither of these 2 idiots are competant enough to be Senators little less President!
I'd say a Ford second term would be infinitely better than a Carter second term.
We didn't have American embassy staff held hostage in Iran for 444 days, while America was totally humiliated and ridiculed by a bunch of Islamic crazies and lunatics, under Ford.
That happened under Carter. No one has been as bad as Carter.
Or Osama’s and Ahmedinajad’s first term
There was an article in December, 2007 in the National Review comparing Obama with Carter. It’s at

I would think the Obama/Clinton reign would most closely resemble that of Salvador Allende.
