Not true. An Obama presidency will mean that a real conservative will be elected in 2012. His first act will be to roll back the fiasco that will be nationalized health care. Then he will work to restore the military.

The war we are now engaged in is a direct result of the Carter WH. If RWR couldn’t clean up that mess sufficiently to prevent so many deaths, how do you expect anyone to clean up after Obama’s capitulation to Islamic tyrants and socialists around the world? Socialism is like crack addiction, you’re better off never trying it because getting off it can be deadly.

Your view is curiously similar to a number of people's views regarding remarriage, to wit:

''The triumph of hope over experience.''

You are not alone in your assessment here; and the bigger threat we face, may be just such thinking as this. IMHO. . .of course.

Can we reasonably imagine the luxury of time; if even only, for 'four years'? Think not. . .given what we see of our rapidly changing culture - thanks to it's refashioning by Liberal mentoring; and given the change of cultural expectations - thanks to Liberal RE-education. More thanks to Liberals needed here, of course; for their special committment to our Constitution, they so self-servingly view as a living, breathing- changing document; with adapting qualities, so embedded..

Special mention should be given here as well; to our Liberal Judges - engaged as they are, in making their own 'law' so as to further Leftist Agendas that otherwise would be prohibited by our Constitution or by citizen vote. (Federal Courts; 'the Supremes'. . .what might we have in just four years?)

Given what we know about the 'Utilitarian' MO - ends justifies means - MO of the radical Left - that we experience as the omniscient Totalitarian Collective - with it's 'power lust'; is it reasonable to assume that in four years, we would be so enabled, by these collectivists to successfully, move our Country foreward?

Think the 'CHANGE'(s) that Obama desires to implement; could well have our heads spinning, faster than Linda Blair's as she sat on her bed, in the 'Exorcist'. I don't want to risk four years - a timeline that could possibly stretch into a stolen future from our children; and perhaps, their children as well.

These people never take an 'inch' when they can steal a mile; we know that; and as we speak; they are close, damn close to both winning and stealing, our Country while ' attempting guarantees' that our population will NOT fight back; at least anytime soon.

Think our only hope is to insure; we NEVER give them such an opportunity for 'Power Enhancement'. For sure NOT, entrusting them with the power of America's Presidency; our Congress. . .our Courts; our Defense; our Military. As well, we cannot afford for them to own our Healthcare; our Educations system; our Children. (. . .and most importantly, we cannot allow them further ownership of our Minds; by way of now deadly viral strains of political correctness.)

Not for 'four years'; not for two. We absolutely cannot give any more, than they have already taken; or we have naively given. We must STOP now.

And while, McCain may favor some of these 'changes'; he is not ideologically rooted, as are these lovers of Marx; Chomsky; Alynsky. . .these appeasers of any totalitarian mind-set; including elements of radical Islam. McCain, most importantly, and by contrast, IS available to the 'Gifts of Reason'. All to say, we can more easily alter, change our course; maintain and/or recover, from a McCain Presidency.

If ONLY, for our National Security - and for the 'Grace of our Military' we cannot entertain such an insult as would be, a President Obama, Commander-in-Chief. Not for four years - not ever!

(As to restoring our Military; after four years of Obama; we surely would have a Draft by then; (who would actually join(?) and in a few more years; where would our patriots be grown from - given that ' God/Country allegiance'/Patriotism/Altruism', are now listed in the politically incorrect column under Social misbehaviors (and of the worst kind. If one considers only, the precariousness of our times; then time IS surely a luxury; and we can no longer afford.)

Dream on. Once in place, government programs never go away. Even when cut back, they keep their infrastructure and authority, ready for the next left-wing Tsunami of money. Remember how the Dept of Education and the NEA were going to go away under Ronald Reagan?

Our government today is mostly layer on layer of unsuccessful bureaucracies, created over the last 80 years, that have no more reason to exist than existence itself. Any justification for their power and budget that ever existed is long gone. But noone can do anything about it. The bureaucracy is a constituency unto itself.

Where is Sam Adams when we need him?

HA! One, the president has no such power. Congress would have to eliminate the nationalized health care system. The chances of that are slim to none. What would happen is they would "reform" it, which nearly always results in an even worse outcome.
