This fact is possibly our best hope. It means he may (if elected) be prone to try to over-reach. He is a Marxist and if his victory speech the other day is any indication he has a messiah complex (his securing the nomination will be remembered as the moment when we healed the globe? C'mon!) If he becomes president he'll feel he can do anything, and his agenda will be radical.
My scenario for Obama if elected: Given that he is prone to serious gaffes, and has demonstrated horrible judgment in his associates, he will very possibly try to simultaneously push an extremist agenda while trying to get a collection of the most ultra-left wingers into his cabinet as possible. I think by the time his first 100 days are up, he may be finding the country saying "WTF? No WAY!" to him a lot.
And that will be about the time that some "National Emergency" is declared and martial law will be attempted. Maybe I'm doom and gloom but I expect it to get very ugly VERY fast.
It is my opinion that he will be elected, I just cannot see McCain beating him. Too old, not that smart, not charismatic enough and a pissed off base. Not a formula for victory.
The pain and damaged caused by Obama and the radical left will be so severe IMHO, that it will take years to fix.
In 1987 I bought my first house and was happy that the interest rate was only 11%! Thanks for that Jimmy Carter.
I hope and pray that it does not, but it is likely to get VERY bad. Look for 2010 to be a terrible year, the laws passed in 2009 will start to have some serious effect by then.
Very sad because it should not have to be.
