When I was overseas, I had a Muslim friend who regularly drank beer with the rest of us guys. And here, in the US, I know many Jews who eat bacon and a Mormon who drinks tea and coffee.

He said, "the restaurants were filled w/ Libyans / Arabs, eating PORK products....etc. etc. Nothing prevents non-Muslim Arabs from eating pork.
Likewise, not all Muslims subscribe to the idea they can't eat pork (you don't think every Catholic stopes eating their Friday meat during Lent, do you?)
