Can anything fail to be better than tofu?

I never understood that.

Is bacon that hard to cook that it’s necessary to buy it pre-cooked or canned?

When I was overseas, I had a Muslim friend who regularly drank beer with the rest of us guys. And here, in the US, I know many Jews who eat bacon and a Mormon who drinks tea and coffee.

There are sinners in all religions.

I agree! I just saw a “How it’s Made” on packaged bacon, I never knew there was such a thing!

He said, "the restaurants were filled w/ Libyans / Arabs, eating PORK products....etc. etc.

Nothing prevents non-Muslim Arabs from eating pork.

Likewise, not all Muslims subscribe to the idea they can't eat pork (you don't think every Catholic stopes eating their Friday meat during Lent, do you?)

Convenience. Less grease mess and cooks in about a minute in the microwave.

Back in the 1970s, the field ration packs used by the Canadian military included canned bacon.

Yes, but it’s in a can. Therefore it is much worse for you and people who live the healthiest lifestyle of all can snicker at you for eating it!
