I never understood that.

Is bacon that hard to cook that it’s necessary to buy it pre-cooked or canned?

I agree! I just saw a “How it’s Made” on packaged bacon, I never knew there was such a thing!

Convenience. Less grease mess and cooks in about a minute in the microwave.
