Well, it cuts out the shots for one thing and works more like an artificial pancreas.

But the technology is still new. My son wanted to try it because his overnight control was getting problematic.

I worked with a fellow who had the pump. I don't know if it was continuous on not but it did regulate what our pancreas' do naturally.

I sure hope you have good news about your son's eyesight.

On another note, my cousin's husband was prepped for surgery to replace his live the other day, when the surgeon decided not to use the liver harvested. Please keep him in your prayers. His name is John. They are from the Columbus, Ohio area.
