[Soaring Feather]

My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Sorry about not returning sooner but ran into an old acquaintance and his new wife. They chewed on my ear for about 2 hours. I couldn’t escape. I just have to write off that place to eat as one of the things thay said that it was one of their favorite places. LOL

It's been 60+ YEARS since the CUBS played in the World Series, 100 years since they won the World Series!

They are Sooooo California (former Valley doll). That is okay in small chunks but not a total bombardment. There are things other than California to talk about.

I was in one of the Malls when one of the storms hit yesterday. You could hear the rain pounding on the skylights..it was very dark outside.

I was on my way out when the Mall lost power; I was stuck on the escalator for almost 10 minutes before the power was restored!
