'If anybody comes into my home and tries to hurt my kids, I've no problem shooting them,' she says with a dry candour.

I’ll giver her credit; it appears that she chooses not to be a victim.

But what will the little people use to defend themselves? Here in the USA, the law-abiding common folk would have the same choices that she and Mr. Pitt do....sadly, the same is not the case for the Daily Mail's readership in the UK.

How many firearms are there in private hands in America? 200 million? 300 million? Only in Britain would this be news, since they’re completely disarmed. Poor sheeple!

Glad to see this appearing in a UK news outlet. The Brits need to read more of this sort of thing.
To: Stoat
sadly, the same is not the case for the Daily Mail's readership in the UK. Even sadder is that they are not only deprived of the means, but of the legal justification. In the UK a man has no right of self-defense, even with his bare hands.

How many? Enough that other countries do not want to even attempt to invade us, and enough to reorganize Washington DC if we need to.

I can only imagine what Jennifer Aniston must think when she sees those glamorous, sexy pictures of Jolie.

Allrightythen... Next, we have to get them
signed up in the NRA. After that, get them involved with their local
NRA Members' Council. : - ) (It's just a guess, but I'd say that they're probably closest to the
West L.A. members' Council.)
Since they're already taking responsibility for protecting themselves and their family, they need to help preserve the right that lets them do that. There are roughly 80,000,000 gun owners in the US, but only 4,000,000 are NRA members. Brad and Angelina, if you're reading this, we need more people to hop out of the wagon and start pulling rather than riding if we want to keep our rights. We'd be really happy to have you out here with us!

I see a course in gun safety is in order... I understand that in the Tomb Raider movies and videogame, she draws from her holsters and fires while somersaulting in mid-air, something that is also "possibly" not part of traditional firearms "best practice" :-)

I bought the first Tomb Raier movie a couple of days ago and watched the extras. She had to go through intense training for fighting, shooting and driving.
I was fascinated by her use of weapons. Although she fired nothing but blanks she did a great job and made it look real.
She’s also left handed and they had to find a ambidexrous subgun for her. I forgot what the pistols are. Walthers?
