My mother owns a French car (a Peugeot). It’s well-designed, comfortable and has a lot of strange buttons that, in similarity with the vehicle as a whole, came without instructions upon purhase.
The French do have their peculiarities when it comes to automobiles. I still remember the time I sat down in the driver's seat of a Citroen DS19, and tried to start it up ... couldn't find the accelerator pedal, just this little mushroom-like thing. Or was it the brake pedal, lol?
