I composed this short piece back when FR was positively boiling over with Liberty theorists. It was well received, but has disappeared from any archives.

So I think it's time I resurrect it for a while.

I like it. Who knows just how far people might go, when over time, they accept the incremental losses of liberty in favor of some 'collective' purpose.

This 'socializing' can be subtle and eventually lead the victim into group-think behavior, followed by crowd-think, followed by mob-think- it's most destructive form. Could it happen here? Possibly, but more time is needed to program the masses.
