What has become crystal clear is that the federal government no longer feels any obligation to tell the truth to the American people about anything. In he far distant past, only grave matters of national security were viewed as sufficient justification to withhold the truth from American citizens. Today's reality is that, except for the terminally clueless, nobody trusts the federal government.

I had never heard of Jerome Corsi before he started with his "Bush's Power Grab"/"SPP Eats Babies"/"They're Planting Chips In My Head" stuff. I had (obviously) heard of Unfit for Command before that, but he never registered in my head as the co-author. I was surprised to hear that he is a former FReeper (maybe current, for all I know). I think it's great that he parlayed the above into a second career. In any case, I don't buy into the argument that Corsi should get a pass because of his earlier work. No one should.

Without arguing percentages, that's probably the most lucid thing I've seen a Corsi supporter write in months. But in that regard, this article scores 100% BS.
