It is not a coincidence that one of George Clinton's collaborations is named Parliament. And just listen to the lyrics of One Nation Under a Groove! Use your heads, people! Dance your way out of your constrictions? Ready or not here we come, gettin' down on the one which we believe in? Just look at the lyrics!

I'm surprised Prof. Corsi hasn't made the connection.

I wouldn’t be shocked to learn that secretly you are someone who likes the New World Order (NWO) idea of: replacing the dollar with the “Amero”, believe we should get rid of the notion of a sovereign United States and replace it with the open borders North American Union (NAU) of Mexico, Canada and the U.S., subscribe to the massive scam known as Global[oney] Warming, and believe the U.S. should not act in its own best interests without first obtaining UN approval. Are you a supporter of the idea of American students leading the way with this “North American Parliament” exercise...

And by the way, you do know that all three presidential candidates subscribe in large measure to these initiatives.

I see you enjoy trying to ridicule me for posting information about the North American Community plans to erradicate our national sovereignty. Robert Pastor will appreciate your efforts.

Yup.

Leading the way to a party north of the border? Cool!

I see you enjoy trying to ridicule me for posting information about the North American Community plans

Who is the "North American Community" and why should I care about their supposed "plans"?

Robert Pastor will appreciate your efforts.

Why would a lefty professor appreciate my efforts to shrink government, cut taxes and seal our borders?

You want to shrink government, yeah sure, keep talking about supporting the trade agreements and we’ll see what you support.

For what it's worth, even Pastor has stated that he's not in favor of a "North American Union." And before anyone links me to his "Building a North American Community" paper, I respectfully request that one demonstrate that one has actually read it.

And before the knees really start jerking on this thread, I'm not a big fan of certain professors, either. I do enjoy analyzing conspiracy pathologies, in which Pastor has the status of a giant.

I sure do.

I supported Fred. I also support reducing tariffs and taxes.

Pastor told you this personally or is it on paper where we all can see it?

Ask the Editor that question.

I'm sure you have some idea, right?

Supporting the trade agreements is expanding governement control over private business. I don’t remember Fred saying he was going to reducing tariffs on exports or imports.

Where everyone can ignore it, you mean. If people can't be bothered to read the paper at the center of the conspiracy, what makes you think they'll accept his denial?

In any case, I'll see if I can find something.

I only support trade agreements that reduce government taxes on and restriction of trade.

I don’t remember Fred saying he was going to reducing tariffs on exports or imports.

If we made a list of all the things you don't (or can't) remember......

That's OK. I know that answer. So do you. That you won't say it is interesting.

Anyway, I'll leave you to your fun. I have to get to my World Domination planning meeting.

No one seems to be talking about the South/Central American union that has just been formed. I suppose it will make it easier for us to join.....

South America nations found union

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/7417896.stm

The leaders of 12 South American nations have formed a regional body aimed at boosting economic and political integration in the region.

Unasur summit in Brasilia on 23 May 2008
Some members hope Unasur could become a regional version of the EU

At a summit in Brazil, they signed a treaty which created the Union of South American Nations (Unasur).

Mr Lula said at the summit in Brasilia that the differences between some Unasur governments were a sign of vitality in the region.

“The instability some want to see in our continent is a sign of life, especially political life,” Mr Lula said.

“There’s no democracy without people [protesting] in the streets,” he added.

The Unasur members are Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay and Venezuela.

Here ya' go, a portion of a great write-up on the issue (not the one I was looking for, though):

Then there's Robert Pastor, a liberal university professor and globalist, who has talked about an Amero in one of his books and served as a co-chair of the task force that produced the "Building A North American Community" report. Newsflash: I've talked to Pastor and he denies talking to the Bush Administration about any sort of North American Union. Furthermore, he says that to the best of his knowledge they're not working on any such thing. He also noted that the Amero was one of three ideas he floated in one of his books, that he wasn't married to it, and again, to the best of his knowledge, nobody in the Bush Administration is working on it. In addition, Pastor has this to say about the idea of a North American Union:

Each of the proposals I have laid out represent (sic) more than just small steps. But it doesn’t represent a leap to a North American Union or even to some confederation of any kind. I don’t think either is plausible, necessary or even helpful to contemplate at this stage.

Even if Pastor had said exactly the opposite and called for a North American Union to be formed tomorrow, so what? He doesn't work for Bush. It's like having a Communist professor screaming that Lenin was right and we should become a Communist nation tomorrow and then having people like Jerome Corsi go, "See? George Bush is converting America to Communism!" It makes no sense.

Human Events, There Isn't Going to Be a North American Union, January 10, 2007.

I'm sure that the above was posted here one or two times, but I don't feel like looking for it.
