I want to thank Charlie Payne for his part in serving during World War II and in his part in helping liberate the Buchenwald concentration camp. And I want to say, that I am sorry that he will now have his privacy be subject to the harassing media and reporters who are seeking a story. As with many who served, many would prefer to keep such matters private. My father served in Germany during WWII, but he does not like to go into details, though I do know enough to give an accurate accounting.
And I am sure that Democratic candidate for President Barack Obama misspoke when he said his uncle helped liberate the Nazi Auschwitz concentration camp. But, I would add, even what I know of my fathers experience in World War II, I do not think I would have even imagined making such a mistaken statement.
What matters here is to thank Charlie Payne, and whatever he witnessed, it would surely speak volumes to the heart and soul of anyone, and perhaps through those such as Mr. Payne we will not forget the infinite ability of man to do harm to his fellow man.
We cannot forget. We should not forget how passions of the crowd can rule supreme over senses, and we should not let others lead us again down that road. The most powerful thing in this world is the human voice. It can be for good, but for the worst. The human voice is more powerful than anything. Because it can be anything. It can be love or hate. Simple words, can sway simple people. If they allow themselves.
Here is the problem when you believe only in words such as change and hope, and you give that sort of power to the government simply on such words, we can see a chapter of your future in the same old story of the past.
We see what happens to such people in the end.
Once you give them that power, to those who simply promise such things, it is very difficult to take it back.
In fact, the very person who told you all about change and hope, and you gave them that power, that person could be gone tomorrow. But that power will not be gone so easily.
Someone will still be there. Whether its him, or her, or one of their relatives. It will not be gone so easily. All the promises will be made, but they will not be able to deliver even one promise. When you believe in generalities such as change and hope, you are ready to lose everything to them.
Once they have that power, it will be power over you, and you should not be surprised what they will tell you next. That it is all about feelings. They will speak about feelings.
Big feelings. That you cannot live without such feelings. That life is only about those feelings.
But, they are not just telling you how you should feel. What they are already telling you is what you shall feel. What they are telling you is how you shall live. And next, they will tell you where you shall live. And then they will tell you how long you shall live. And then, in the end, they are going to tell you when you shall die.
Someone is to blame when they fail. Someone is going to have to pay the price. The price is never high enough.
You can take all the money from the rich, but it will never be enough money to solve anything. They will not be able to even solve the most simplest thing. They will blame someone else when they fail.
You can take all the Jews, but maybe there is another one hiding under your bed. They will have to come into your house to check under your bed. They will need to ask your children about how you feel.
It is the US of KKK A. Are you a member?
The chapter of your future is already in the words of those who they admire. It isnt really the words they admire as much as it is their attitude that they admire. They admire those who blame others. And, certainly anyone who is so stupid to believe in words such as hope and change. Certainly they need to be suspect. You will be blamed. For their failures.
You have failed to identify a rich person. You failed to return everything to the government that really did not belong to you.
You failed by running away. And you even failed by not running away. And you failed because you did not come. You failed to calculate how many times you should have been shot.
You even dared to have children.
Damn you. We all know, only the rich can afford children. Are you one of those rich people?
But eventually, perhaps someone will come and open the gates to Buchenwald and let you out.
And btw ...
I really like Charles Krauthammer, too!
And Brit Hume is great, as well.
Great post...
