Nobody writes a virus that doesn't have anywhere to replicate to.

Windows is so easy to attack, it's almost trivial. Why waste a bunch of time in a futile effort to write an effective virus for Linux or Mac OS X when Windows is so easy to infect?

Why wast time in a futile effort to write a virus that's going to have maybe one chance in a million connections of finding something it can infect?
