I think your title is in jeopardy. I am the Queen of the Thread Killers. I do it all the time.

LOL Well, Queenie...here I am. Let’s see if the thread is awake or dead. I have been out mowing, weed whacking, hedging and edging :-) MUCH better today - 55 degrees instead of 105 like Friday a week ago. Did I tell you we had summer? It fell on May 16th this year.

What time is dinner? I want a ribeye, very rare, accompanied by a peach bellini.
thank you for the invitation.

DINNER AT DOG'S HOUSE! JOHNNY IS COOKING! Bring your American flags and be prepared to sing patriotic songs. Chair will be debuting his return to the forum by bringing us up-to-date with his take on the state of the nation and the current election.

I can't stand hot weather :-) I mowed last week in 105 degrees (STOOPID). At one point, I was laying on unmowed grass with the garden hose down my shirt. If the mailman had come by, he would have called 911 :-)
I want to come eat dinner with Dog and Johnny too :-(

I'll need about 14 teenyboppers to do the running for me (I'm getting old), and 100 lbs of beef, 100 lbs of chicken, 300 lbs of taters, 200 lbs of mixed veg. 50 lbs of onions, 10 lbs of garlic..... I'll need lots of stuff.
And some cakes from NO. or some kind of dessert. I don't do desserts.
And lots of coffee.

Pure stupidity on her part.
Should Hill have ‘splained that once upon a time you had to have the delegates from CA to be the clear front runner, and that CA’s primary was in June I don’t think anyone would have thought anything about her RFK statement.
She’s getting old - once we start juggling stuff we tend to forget reality!

I'll cook anywhere that I get a ride to, and food to cook. I'm slower than I used to be, and it hurts more to move, but I can cook.
Lord.... LOL! Mow the grass when it's cooler. Larry must have busted a gut looking down on you in that situation.
Take care, Bev.

Thanks for bringing this one to ATRW. It’s delightful having you here.

Notice that I didn't flinch.... I'll cook anywhere, anytime, if someone will get me there, and give me product. I've never cooked in the great state of Delaware.

/johnny it is always a blessing to see you here. Just keep on cooking, no matter how slow you get.
By the way, how’s the Frenchman? I’m still praying for him to accept Jesus as the way, the truth and the light.

Frenchy is still bitter and angry. But still working in the yard, at 83. Thank you for your prayers for him. He's a burden on my soul. And not a thing I can do to make it better.
I had to leave the professional kitchen because of health issues. I'm back to engineering wifi. My knees and hips and ankles won't take the stress anymore. I CAN cook for special events when I have a chance to recover afterwards. Just not every day. I really miss it.

I could hear Larry saying "STOP MOWING RIGHT NOW! It will be cooler tomorrow."
Of course he was right - the next day it barely got to 60.
But, I have this little OCB problem! When I wake up in the morning I set myself achievable goals and then complete them no matter what. I do believe I need to factor in weather conditions from now on :-)
