>>>Any more ridiculous than the idea that ordinary citizens can fight the government with legal handguns and rifles?<<<<

I still don’t get why I am in a gun battle with the government to start with. What did I do?

>>>>As for the fighter jet idea, if some millionaire or group wanted to own a working fighter jet it wouldn’t be any skin off my nose.<<<<<

So if Weather Underground had a fighter jet, that would not bother you? ...and they should be free to roam the skys with guided missiles?

Fighter jet?..... come on, man.

You know you could read the entire tread.

**The only way we can actually restore the republic is through the 2nd Amendment. People should understand that, and prepare either to exercise that right, or accept socialism. There is no other foreseeable choice.**

Exercising the 2nd Amendment is pretty much a suicidal option today with the legal weapons available. I won’t stand in anybody’s way if they want to try.

If the government was taking away my rights and for some reason the Weather Underground was fighting the government I wouldn’t have a problem with it. Since the Weather Underground unlike say the VFW is a known terrorist group I wouldn’t object to the government either taking the plane or destroying it. On the other hand if the Shiners wanted a group of Fighter Planes to fly above parades and if they can get the legal permits and insurance to fly then what the hell. It is a free country isn’t it?

If I want a fully functioning Sherman Tank because I am a part of a WWII group that have pretend battles and I am not a known threat then why not?
