I love the return of the muscle car replicas of sorts. Ford's T-Bird was a nice try but a yawner. The 2005 Mustang was Grand Slam and now The Charger looks like it will follow suit.

If the US manufactures knew what was good for them they'd tap this market till the cows come home. People who buy these could care less what the price of gas is, I say bring back the 57 Chevy and go from there!

And yet another thread says the Chevy Camaro is toast.

If they didn’t have ridiculous price tags on them, I’d buy cars like this.

A colleague, who writes on cars all the time and who has a new book on the history of the auto coming out, says that the best deal in the world right now is any kind of classic car.

1) It will GAIN value

2) It's easier to maintain

3) It's still cooler than any of the new "cool cars" that are out there.

I'm thinking 69 Chevy Camaro SS.

The picture reminds me of a mix between the 68 or 69 Camero and a 65 Mustang. But that’s just me.

Considering every last one is sold out, I'm thinking that Dodge wishes they had charged a little more for them.

” I say bring back the 57 Chevy and go from there! “

When I was a kid , I actually wrote a letter to General Motors telling them they ought to bring back the 1957 Chevy ! They never replied , though . : (

Glad they didn’t run that thing through a wind tunnel to make it looks like the typical cookie-cutter mobile. Looks almost exactly like the early ‘70s Challenger — the epitome of a muscle car, imo.

Yep, things are out of control now. Saw a Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda sell for $2.2 mil. recently (on TV) at an auction.

I think we all know that this car absolutely requires a custom General Lee paint job. It is a shame they make them any other way...
