Watching Hussein's Speech Tonight: I Am Almost Persuaded To Work For McCain
Fox News ^ | 5/20/08 | Recovering_Democrat

Posted on 05/20/2008 7:42:41 PM PDT by Recovering_Democrat

I just turned on the TV and saw the Obamanation and his speech.

Folks, chills are going up my spine, and my stomach is turning. This guy poses a danger to our future and my child's future. He wants to force the productive in society to turn over their energies to the lazy. He wants to suck up to the nations that sponsor terrorism. He is sickening, and, I have to say...worse than the Clintons.

I had to turn it off.

I have been among those who have ripped into John McCain, and GOD knows I have big time differences with him and his smarmy ways. Seeing the Cult of Hussein tonight, though, puts things in a different light.

What to do? I will think and pray on it. I do appreciate your input, though, fellow FREEPers.

Sorry, friend! I am a purist. No vote for McPain.

I know there are many good reasons for it. But, there are not perfect reasons for it, which is what I look for.

Will wait for Bobby or Jeb in 2012 (or some other “true” messiah”).

Rubbish, McCain isn’t a socialist. And Obama is a freakin’ Marxist.

I suggest you refresh your memory about McCain by reading post #40. McCain is a socialist trying to wrap himself in conservative clothing.

Remember, we are talking about making him (obama) a wartime President with all the additional power that commands,
this is why Herself hungers for it so much. The lessons of Roosevelt are there for anyone to learn, Hillery! has taken those lessons to heart, only during wartime does a President have the ability to make social change on the scale needed by the socialists.

If McCain scares me, maybe he’ll scare the world a bit too.
I had my doubts about GW and frankly still do, but I have NO DOUBT about the direction the democrats want to take and HAVE been taking this country. We must not let them further their goals.

So why don’t you clarify your post if you don’t want it misconstrued?

Why do you misconstrue a very simple and clear post?

I will vote for McCain and if need be I will work minimally for him.

Then you prefer a slow death march towards socialism than a fast one.

Yeah, I'm shaking in my boots too. Not.

I ain't skeered of no Obama. I grew up hiding underneath my elementary school desk from a nuclear strike, you think Obama scares me?

Still ain't voting for McCain - UNLESS he denounces illegal immigration, global warming, etc and picks a conservative VP.

Awesome video:

The same kind of terrorists who support Obama did this:

Never apologize for them.
Never appease them.
Never forget.

I saw McCain tonight responding to some of BHO’s insane ideas and I have to say, I was pretty impressed with him. And I haven’t been up to this point, with his stand on Gitmo, amnesty, etc. Add that to his recent speech on Supreme Court justices and strict constructionists.

Does the name Schwarzenegger ring a bell?

Politicians(McPain-Schwarzenegger) will say anything to get elected. Just look at their past record to see how they'll preform once they're in office.

I don’t believe I misconstrued it. You stated that voting McCain is voting socialist. I simply asked what your solution is. Vote Obamination or stay home? Pretty straightforward.

Yup. Bunch of inbred degenerate granola-munchers. But I been telling you guys for months, Obama is a marxist born and bred, and his strategy is to keep a fuzzy populist figleaf covering his totalitarianism until it is too late. Once elected, it will be too late, given the ‘rat gauleiters running the House and Senate. All these idiot kool-aid drinkers can read’em and weep for all the good it will do them then.

Then you will be voting for a socialist.

I can't believe Obama has gotten FReeper's lingerie all bunched up. Give me a break. This country has been through so much that Obama is like a flea on our Rottweiler's ass. This nation would rise up so fast it wouldn't be funny. Gun sales would shoot through the roof.

All this fear-mongering is just more crapola so we would vote for McCain. Forget it - I held my nose in 1992, 1996, 2000, and 2004, not to mention all of the mid-term elections. The Republican Party has let me down and has all the leadership of a caboose.

And here I was all worried that fear might not work as a motivator.

and not voting would be in effect voting for a Stalinist.

My non-support of McCain does not equate to de facto support of Obama. It's a totally invalid argument.

I need reasons why I should vote for said candidate; therefore that candidate has to give me a message, not to expect me to go out and vote like a mind-numbed robot (apologies to legendary FReeper Mind-numbed Robot).

Actually Yes. A slow march has a chance, however fleeting, to be stopped.

You were watching Der fuhrer.

I’ve sen the future, and it looks a lot like the past. Obama followers would commit mass suicide if he asked them to. There is something horribly wrong with this whole picture.
