Hitler reading a letter from Roosevelt in German Parliament .both hitler and his audience burst into laughs.
And now it’s.........Springtime for Hitler and Germany
Winter for Poland and France
Evil is as Evil does(did).
In 1932, "Palestine" was the official name of a territory (covering all of present-day Israel, Jordan and the occupied terrotories) which England was governing under a mandate of the League of Nations. (It had been a province of the Ottoman Empire until the Treaty of Versailles).
If I remember correctly, that speech was made at the Berlin Sportspalast in the Spring or Summer of 1939. If memory serves, the list went on, and Hitler went on to promise not to attack the moon and several planets in the solar system.
Wer zuletzt lacht, lacht am besten.
“He who laughs last, laughs best”.
God bless the American Veterans who defeated this beast.
Hitler not only recognised the Jewish state but came to an economic agreement with it. The Transfer Agreement, of the early thirties.
There was no "Jewish state" until 1948; Palestine was a British Mandate.
The Dutch in April of 1782 recognised our American Republic. It is reguarded in our history as the origin of our State on the world stage. At that time the British “mandate” here still held. British forces remained in Georgia, Virginia at the very least. Americansoldiers continued to die on the battlefield ousting them. The last state did not ratify the Constitution until 1790. I believe in fact the American State began in 1776.
The State of Israel did not declare independence until 1948. In the 1930s, there was no Jewish state either factually or legally. Palestine was governed by England, and no one was even claiming to be an independent Jewish state.
Just a question,... If Menachem Begin was not warring in behalf a “state” when he blew up the mandate secretariat and British military headquarters, or massacred the village of Deir Yassin, why did he wind up the Prime Minister, instead of on the gallows for mass murder?
