Whoo--eee!
I just got into a heated discussion with a Directv agent. Our DVR and a receiver would not work after there was an upgrade a few months ago. After googling the situation I found out that we were not the only ones with that problem.
On several forums it was posted that it was the same old same old..."well, you can buy a new one for x amount of dollars"...yada..yada. Many fought it and received new receivers. The agent tried to do the same to me, but I mentioned the differents forums and the complaints. Our new replacement is on its way here via FedX. *smirk*
This is so unlike me to insist. With the information I had I just couldn't back down, but I'm trembling a tad. I think I' go out to the pond to relax. BBL.
Good for you lysie. Too many people don’t stand firm and insist on being treated fairly.
I had to stand my ground with an insurance agent yesterday because of a clerical error in their office.

I’m having trouble with the Directv dvr (high def version)
Sometimes the lip sync is off (sound) 1 sec or so.
Also - it needs to be rebooted every now and then when it hangs up
