“Ralph had reportedly told police that his father wouldn’t mind, as it was his birthday last week and he had forgot to get him a present. The father, a lawyer said he had been too busy, but would take him on a surprise trip to Disneyland instead.”

This is the tip of the iceberg for this kid getting into trouble.....Dad is too busy to remember his birthday so I guess he is too busy to be a dad.....shame on Dad and now he is rewarding this kid with a trip to Disney.....wow....this kid needs a better parent before it is too late

If Dad is rewarding his kid for behavior like that at that age, it's already too late. Look out DemocRats, here comes your POTUS nominee for 2032.....and, he's from Texas....

Agreed. This kid needs a major spanking... uh, too late... NEEDED a good spanking several times in the past. I suspect he won’t be heard from except by cops in the future. Dad and mom: should have been dressed down somewhere along the line, too.

I think Ralph was lying to the police about his Dad. Why else would he use a credit card obtained through fraud and not one his Daddy gave him. He's also been convicted of fraud for his little stunt. Duh.

I just reread the article. It seems I misread it. The Father actually admitted to being too busy and said he would take him to Disneyland. What an idiot. But what kind of a surprise trip would it be now that the father told the press. Ralph was also convicted of fraud but could he have got out of it if his father had not pressed charges and paid off the bill? I think this is a dysfunctional family with money. Sorry about the duh.
