Fire ants....ick! You asked about our weather...well, we have had a doozy of a winter and no spring as yet. I guess we did see the sun one day last week. Right now it is raining and quite chilly. They say tomorrow will be the same, but Monday might be just partly cloudy - no rain.

I have been busier than I should be for a retired person. We have had to train several new people at the Clinic and, I have taken up a VICE :-) I play MAHJONG on Thursday afternoons....not the gambling game, but just plain old Mahjong. I really do like it although the scoring still has me a bit befuddled. A rocket scientist I am not!

Hi all: I don't know whether you all watch the two TV shows filmed in our part of Oregon or not...but, thought I'd tell you that AX MEN scheduled for 5/18/08 is supposed to show our disastrous storm of 12/3/07. It is on the History Channel Sunday evenings 10 p.m. EST or 7 p.m. PST. Also, LITTLE PEOPLE/BIG WORLD is filmed about 60 miles from where we live. It is on the Learning Channel Monday 5/12/08 at 7:30 p.m. PST. For those of you all not living in Oregon, these two reality shows will give you an overview of the countryside in beautiful Oregon.

The other day, did you see that HOB and I are planning to get together and drive down and see you sometime this summer? We’re thinking after July 5 and before September. I might even be getting a nice comfy car (but a gas guzzler!) to do it in!
