There is a common law principle for the defense of yourself OR OTHERS in imminent danger or harm.
The woman called for help.
With proper representation it will not even come to a grand jury in many places despite the best attempts of wacko Prosecutors.

Cops freqently stop and check on the status of early morning bakers. Bakers are one of the few people around after the bars close. Donut shop bakers also have access to a very fresh, precious item, as well as hot coffee.
Any other Freepers have personal knowledge/experience that can back me up on this?
