From another story I saw, I believe that picture is from a virtual training facility. An interactive simulator system that "fires" a laser at a screen. I don't think it's a firearm.

It was a training facility in Kuwait, and there's a voice in the background, after she fires, saying something about her shooting being pretty much right on target.

I wonder how many Governors or Congress critters they get in that facility who could do the same?
