Anywhere you can lock him and not hear him for the night?
I’d say the electric shock thing has to be worth a try. If throwing something at him would shut him up then I bet zapping would.

He used to pull this act when he was a kitten. It got bad enough that I’d crate him in another part of the house so I could sleep.
Then I got Halvah and they’d play enough that he actually slept through the night. I think she’s slackin’ on the job lately...
