They often survive washers. Sometimes dryers too.
Maybe I will try some writing this summer but I doubt it will be a mystery. Heh.
I’m still working on NaNo2007. Just about to finish another notebook - back to hand-writing for a bit.
It’s always the last 30% that’s the hardest for me. All of a sudden all the details have to match up, and there are a LOT more details to match than there were at the start. Not to mention I’ve forgotten dates and times and minor character names by then and have to keep rereading my own story. I spent a lot of the weekend playing detective to my own murder, trying to remember what evidence I’d come up with and what the time line was and who had alibis and who didn’t.
One of these days I still need to finish my space opera, too, durn it. It divided in two, and I still haven’t figured out how to glue the two halves back together rather than turning them into two separate novellas.
Dang...my stories done kilt the thread.
Speaking of dead stuff, I’ve yet to try the squeaky-clean USB key...it didn’t make it into the dryer, so I’m hoping it’s OK. I was waiting for it dry out before attempting to use it.
*crossing my fingers*
I wrote during lunch, and now I’m having trouble getting back into the swing of work. I’d blame my main character’s attorney, but I’m afraid she’d sue me.
