Oh...platinum only. But it has the converter. I think I’ll get the converter.
“The Platinum Preppy Fountain pen is a shining example of good quality at an affordable price. The steel nib delivers a smooth, fine line. Cartridge filling system is easy to use or bottled inks can be used with Platinum converter. Included cartridge ink color matches nib and cap color, but feel free to mix and match with refills. Available in black, blue, pink, green, red, and yellow. Refill with Platinum cartridges only. Length: 5 1/2”
You said you just filled the whole pen up with ink...but you also said it came with an o-ring?
Mine don’t have no o-ring!!
:-(
Heh heh!
It was converted for me - this is the one that comes with the Noodler’s Ink - Nathan Tardif (who basically *is* Noodler’s) does ‘em up. Pendemonium also sells the eyedropper converted ones, but I don’t know when they’ll have them in stock.
It’s probably a simple conversion, but I don’t know where the pieces come from.
That’s actually way too strong, too...he kinda wanted to just play house. Have meals together, hang out...that kinda stuff.
Only she wasn’t allowed to leave, plus she kept killing him, which made things a bit awkward.
You're entering the realm of series collecting now. Buy a few books, and read up on your subject, so you can recognize a good deal from a bad one. A lot of sellers are lazy or iggorant, or want to appear so. They price something too high, or too low. Your job is to appraise the weapon honestly, and figure out how much maneuvering room you have in closing the deal if you really want it.
As far as US military weapons, if you see a good deal, even if it's something that doesn't interest you, jump on it. You can always use it as prime trading stock later. It took collectors a long time to figure that out, even for "common" stuff like shotguns and M1 carbines. That also includes "US Property" marked .22 rifles (often out of ROTC), and oddball revolvers and .22 handguns. The collector demand for that stuff is an inch wide, but a mile deep.
Ohhh...*that’s* why she looked familiar! And why she gave me a baaad feeling.
It was also strange seeing Nana Visitor in BSG last week.
All my worlds keep getting mixed together...
Heh...I’ve also been watching old episodes of ER lately. The guy from Fargo is the chief of surgery, Bernard from LOST is a very cranky and slightly creepy cardiologist, and Jack’s Dad from LOST is a psychiatrist with mental problems. Then there’s the fact that about the only other George Clooney show/movie I’d ever found worth watching was O Brother Where Art Thou.
It’s all very confusing.
Ok...I got the Heart of Darkness Noodler’s ink with the free eyedropper pen and the pink Preppy and a box of refills and the converter.
Oh gosh...
Well, after last night...I deserve it! Besides, I intend to give the eyedropper pen to Steve.
Heh heh...
*snort*
Got it all from Swisher...they had the cheaper price in the end, although the converter is on back order. That’s ok...I have the cartridges to tide me over.
I don't "admire" them much but I had my fill of doctors and hospitals long ago. That, and my parents were both nurses, and they were *not* nice people.
Exceptin' I have to work tomorrow.
Yep... there’s an awful lot to learn. Just the research I’ve done in the last few days, with regard to this one, has been almost frightening. A glimpse behind the curtain only to discover a whole world in there. Oh, boy...
She was nicer when she was an ensign on Startrk TNG and funnier as a medical examiner on Homicide: Life on the Streets, IMHO. That girl is a hard worker.
Here's my guess. They find earth, take over, and we -as their descendants - are all cylons and just don't know it. :D
Don’t much favor a Cylon Regeneration station as heaven, though.
You know she was also Lynn Kresge on 24. Until Mike Novick tried to have her kilt.
You’ll have to tell me how you like the Heart of Darkness (such a fancy name for a black ink...heh...) I have their regular blank ink, and I like it...but it takes so long to try that I rarely use it ‘cause I end up smearing it all over. It’s permanent, though, so in the past I’ve added a few drops of it to other colors just so there’d still be readable text if the page ever got wet. I worry about stuff like that...
Especially since my very first fountain pen was a really cheap one I got in Germany, along with the cartridges to fit it. I used it for my journal at the time, and the ink flat-out vanished after a few years. I go back through that journal and there are whole pages that are pretty well blank. Rather startling. There’s probably some way to treat them that would make it show, but it’s not *that* big of a deal to me. Just irritating is all.
